I have a Level 4 Apprenticeship for IT Professional Competence/System Principles and 7 years work experience, specifically 5 years within the MoD. I have developed a wide-range of soft skills, including adaptability and a strong work ethic, this has allowed me to thrive in new working environments.Within my role at the MoD I have had the opportunity to review, investigate and implement a wide-range of technical components used to host Cognos applications. Because of this, I am both significantly confident and familiar with Cognos Enterprise Planning, Business Intelligence, Planning Analytics and Cognos Analytics. Administration of these applications have developed my problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Outside of work, I have always found myself passionate about IT and have further expanded my knowledge and skills. I am confident in the usage of all Microsoft Office applications and have experience and knowledge of SQL and the management of Oracle/AIX databases.I am a highly motivated individual, and this drives me to perform my best when completing tasks given to me. I am hoping to further progress in my role at the MoD and look forward to the new responsibilities and challenges this will present.
