As Director of Marketing, and as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, I am responsible for the Camp Tecumseh brand and how the organization’s mission is delivered to the public. Through writing, design, photography, videography, audio production, web development, print production, and social media management, I support Tecumseh’s programs while keeping campers, camper families, staff, alumni, and donors connected to Camp Tecumseh all year long. I lead a small seasonal staff that takes thousands of edited photos, and produce professional quality videos that highlight our programs.

I wrote and distributed press releases to media markets across the country. I used media monitoring software to track the association’s brand. I fielded all media inquiries, and maintained relationships with reporters, while preparing material to send on behalf of the association, or to give to the association spokesperson for interviews. I oversaw twenty regional Facebook pages and fourteen regional email newsletters, as well as contributed to the association’s national social media platforms.I recorded, edited, and produced videos using DSLR camera equipment and Adobe Premiere editing software. I created and produced the association’s podcast, CampWire.

As Director of Community Relations at the Putnam County Public Library, I developed and maintained relationship with local media. I coordinated the preparation of promotional materials. I maintained the library website and social media accounts. I promoted library services at community events and through public speaking, media releases, displays, and library tours. I developed and coordinated special events, including annual author series. I utilized staff and volunteers to aid with mentioned tasks.

As Head Coach of the Greencastle Varsity Boys Tennis Team, I organized and ran practices, coached individual and team drills, as well as coached match play for a dozen high school tennis players.

Aided a professor with scholarly research as well as wrote a paper that I later delivered at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research.
