I am a Bioengineering Ph.D. student in Stanford’s Schools of Engineering and Medicine, and a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. I’m currently pursuing research at the interface of synthetic biology and machine learning in Dr. Brian Hie’s laboratory (https://evodesign.org) at the Arc Institute.I completed my B.Sc. Honors in Biology at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada. At UBC, I was the Director of the iGEM team and Biodesign team, and the President of the Biological Sciences Society. I also founded and led a biotech startup in spatial genomics and a science teaching platform for high school students, and worked as a Research Scientist in UBC’s School of Biomedical Engineering.
