My time at The Home Depot was extremely valuable to my growth as an employee, and as a useful member of society. Although I only worked there Part-time, I developed important and worthwhile skills applicable to almost any situation I've encountered. As a cashier, I learned countless lessons in both customer and employee-employer relations. As the guy out in the cold wrangling carts, I grew a strong foundation for determination and work ethic. Most importantly, being a teenager at a retail location comprised of men and women of all ages (mostly over 40), I was given an awesome opportunity to develop my interpersonal skills in the workplace. I strongly respect The Home Depot as a company who values its employees.
