In 2018 I was awarded a PhD form the National Oceanography Centre, University of Southampton. During my doctoral research I conducted a number of studies to better understand aquatic bone taphonomy and diagenesis. Following my PhD I worked as an ancient DNA laboratory technician and researcher at the University of Tartu.
