I am a student studying at the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University. Due to my passion for puzzles and problem solving I am double concentrating in Strategy and Business Analytics. I am a focused, innovative and outgoing individual who likes to set and achieve well-defined goals. I am keen on pursuing a career in business analytics where I hope to add tangible value to my organization and clients and improve business performance. My experiences have enabled me to develop the following transferable skills:Leadership Skills: I have very strong leadership and interpersonal skills that allow me to connect with others in a clear and concise manner. I was a captain of two varsity teams in high school and a Chief Editor for the Yearbook. In my Management Communication class, I developed my verbal and written delivery capabilities, allowing me to be a more effective leader in both academic and social circles.Computing Skills: As a Business Analytics concentration, I have taken classes such as Spreadsheet Modeling, Database Management, and Coding in Business. Through these classes, I have become proficient in Excel and learned how to code in SQL and Python. To further develop my knowledge of Python, I took a teacher's assistant role for the Coding in Business class. These experiences have given me the ability to analyze data and present findings that are meaningful and insightful. Professional Skills: As a member of the Business Analytics Club, I had the opportunity to interact with clients in highly professional situations - presenting deliverables and partaking in conference calls. My experience as an intern at both IgnitionOne and a law firm allowed me to further develop these professional skills as I was expected to complete complex tasks in a timely and detailed manner. These expectations required me to adapt quickly to the workplace in order to complete objectives. I am passionate about expanding my business knowledge, as well as having a positive impact on everyone that I interact with.
