I thoroughly enjoy working in the IT and software development industry. I interface well with customers, end user and software developers. I believe in seeing problems through to their resolution; giving up is not an option. I like to be challenged, and enjoy solving problems that do not have a text book "fix". I like teaching others how to solve problems on their own while developing my own troubleshooting skills. Proper documentation, logging, and audits are important in this industry, and I'm all about anything that makes problem solving more efficient. I want to know everything I can about the software I'm working with. I'm not afraid to say I don't know, but I will find out the most complete answer I can.My specialties as a software developer include marrying arbitrary data formats, serializing datasets, integrating software, and extensively documenting the way my code works.My specialties as a project manager and an IT specialist include finding ways to make features of a software to accomplish tasks that the developer may not have originally intended it to be able to do. Because I understand the way code works and the OS ecosystem it lives in, I can present feature requests and bug reports to developers in formats that allow them to code effectively. I am skilled in troubleshooting software and employ tools provided by the OS and my in house built tools to identify bugs, user error, software misconfiguration, etc.I am an Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America.
