In this role, I taught a wide range of students, from kindergarten to adult classes. I also voluntarily enrolled in extra teaching to teach specialised lessons for exam preparation and for students with special needs. In this role, I achieved an average teacher-evaluation score of 8.9/10, and was listed as a 'top 5 instructor' in Japan in May 2019 and September 2019.

My main role was to research and evaluate the websites of charitable organisations, rating them on a range of criteria including financial transparency, sustainability and previous track record. During my time there, I also helped organize a short-term summer internship and ran internal evaluations after its end. Although this internship formally ended in 2018, I continue to write articles for the Kinder World news platform on a voluntary, ad hoc basis.

My roles and responsibilities included: -Training and managing volunteers both professionally and pastorally in their role as teaching assistants-Managing stakeholder relations across all project placements (schools and libraries) to maintain a positive and sustainable impact. -Managing the project budget. -Identifying and researching community needs with partners and collating information into several development reports on local youth issues, further education options, and ways in which Tenteleni can best work in the area to have a sustainable and meaningful impact. -Working closely with other local and international NGOs to establish stronger links -Managing health and safety, drafting risk assessments-Monitoring and evaluating project logistics and impact.-Organising and facilitating community events, including a sports day and a careers expo.

Working as a youth development officer, teaching english and maths to primary school children in Kisumu, Kenya. Also worked at a centre for rehabilitated street-children, teaching informal lessons and running activities. Facilitated links between schools and local charities that supply books and basic medical care.

Made coffees, served and cleaned tables. Interacted with customers, took food and drink orders, worked at a till.
