CurrentI am responsible for the Applications Operations division within MassDOT IT. This division enables and supports innovation across the organization with a focus on the customer experience. These dutiesinclude implementing DevOps via the Microsoft Power Platform and oversight of a $3M capital improvement program. This position reports directly into the Chief Information Officer, and works cross-functionally with key stakeholders in MassDOT.• Direct, motivate and lead the DevOps team responsible for the Microsoft Power Platform including Power Automate, and Power Apps.• Leadership and oversight of the document management program which promotes the adoption of SharePoint Online, business process re-engineering and change management support. The program will eliminate physical paper and store those files in SharePoint as the enterprise document repository.• Lead the expansion of application performance management to all business critical applications used by MassDOT. APM incorporates observability, a performance analysis technology better suited to the complexity of distributed, cloud-native applications.• Contribute, support and develop a cross-organizational digital strategy, drive operational excellence and provide guidance on digital vision for MassDOT IT.• Project sponsor for the Kubernetes container system implementation. Kubernetes container system is a portable, extensible, open source platform for managing containerized workloads and services. The MassDOT instance of Kubernetes is leveraged to run synthetic transactions for business critical applications.• Leadership and oversight of the enterprise digital signature program which promotes the adoption of Adobe eSignature technology. The program has transformed several paper-based processes to leverage Adobe e-Sign.• Project sponsor for the RMV Appointment Scheduling implementation. The objective of the project is to upgrade and improve the service center’s ability to manage in-person appointments.
