I am a Mechanical Engineering student with a minor in Spanish at Iowa State University, and I plan to graduate in May 2025. My professional experience includes a Process Development Internship at Boston Scientific, where I learned to apply many principles learned in school to a real manufacturing line. With the Secor Group, I developed machine vision programs in Python, operated Aerosol Jet Printers, conducted CFD simulations with COMSOL, and applied SolidWorks for part development. During my internship at MidAmerican Energy Company, I managed capital replacements worth over $2,000,000 and collaborated with leadership to improve pole repair plans. I implemented the 5S lean manufacturing method at Continental Cement Company and obtained MSHA certification.
