While in the Program Project Management Division, I learned the chain of command for the Pacific Ocean Division and the Far East District. I presented and explained the complete life cycle of a project. Able to effectively communicate with multiple clients and contractors in order to ensure the success of the project. Meet with host nation ROK government and different funding options with ROK and Mil-Con. Lead meetings with the project delivery team and learned about each position. Created a proposal for a funding request to be sent off to congress. While in Construction division, I switched between Family Housing, Medical, and the Quality Assurance Branch offices at the Army Garrison-Humphreys, South Korea. Supervisor of personnel and projects. Projects involve a range of vertical and horizontal work and are highly technical and complex. Manage tracking schedule, request for Information (RFI), design and specification review, submittal review, contract and safety compliance, and negotiating and processing contract change orders. Involved in several inspections such as the Pre, Initial, and Final inspections. Inspected rebar and concrete. While in the Engineering division, I performed structural analysis and inspection of bridges at CP TANGO. Designed a parking lot to US Army standards by looking at the space layout and the drainage flow system of the area. Actively used AutoCAD and SAP2000 to design helipad to be built on top of an existing local hospital for emergency military landings. Show less
