I am an IT professional with 20 years of experience working with a wide range of technologies and projects, with more than 10 years of experience in the Development Lead role and 5 years of experience working with AWS technologies. I am an advocate of Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD and have keen interest in approaches for security-at-scale.With my leadership in agile team management, my experience in scalable, cloud-based application design and development, and my contribution in cross-functional teams, I have successfully delivered many high performance, high usage, web-based projects which were implemented with technologies such as React, AngularJS, Spring Boot, AWS, etc.I am delivery-focused. I help developers focusing on the right tasks by removing roadblocks and giving technical guidance. I help improve communication in geographically diverse teams. I treat QA and DevOps as first-class members of the team and believe they should be involved in every stage of the delivery process, not just as gatekeeper at the end.I played a key role in migrating on-premise applications to AWS and have since developed keen interest in cloud-based infrastructure and championed the idea of Infrastructure-as-Code within my team. I am an advocate in Continuous Integration/Delivery and embedded DevOps resources within the delivery team.My recent role let me explore the field of cloud computing security. I have designed and implemented several automated processes of discovery, monitoring, visualisation, prioritisation and remediation of cloud-based resource vulnerabilities. These processes integrate with native AWS services such as GuardDuty, Security Hub, Access Analyzer, etc.I enjoy working in a cross-functional agile delivery team, learning new ideas, exchanging ideas with people from different backgrounds and turning great ideas into productionised solutions.
