Mr. Mancini has a comprehensive background in acquisition and management, corporate turnarounds, creating strategic partnerships, building corporate organizational infrastructure, and highly effective teams. In 2003 Mr. Mancini co-formed a company focused on purchasing assets in distress, retooling them and subsequently selling them. He has worked with numerous banks on distressed assets and workouts. These deals involved rethinking operational approach and market approach. In 2005 Savoy began purchasing independent grocery stores and purchased stores in several different transactions. He also has led companies through Chapter 11 proceedings representing operators and has represented creditors interest as well. Prior to Founding Savoy Holdings, Mr. Mancini spent four years doing mid-market turn-arounds for banks and shareholders. He also served as a board member and interim CEO of Global HR Systems he developed and completed a merger with Perform Inc. The merger included a recapitalization of Perform Inc., a significant creditor workout and new investment by a leading investment bank. Previously, as a Strategic Organizational Consultant worked with high tech emerging market companies to include Cisco, S3, Synoptics (now Nortel), Creative Labs, Starlight Networks, Remedy Corporation, and General Magic. Mr. Mancini consulted for these pre-dot com companies during their start-up phase with employee counts of less than 60. They have all since made a dramatic impact on the technical landscape and had very successful Initial Public Offerings (IPO) and subsequent Additional Public Offerings (APO).
