Designed and developed programs to support special projects for this international energy trading firm. Programs included sophisticated physical energy scheduling and operational risk management.

Created Monthly Oil Scheduling system that effected huge productivity gains, transforming a nine man-day operation into a two hour process for one scheduler. Based on data downloaded from the mainframe position, this Delphi system feeds Crystal Reports to produce invoices automatically, and generates the scheduling confirmations and contracts. Developed a Receivables/Payables Schedule System for Swaps using Delphi and Crystal Reports. Processes invoices totaling in the millions of dollars daily. The cash manager can now gauge the Firm's cash position, while operations can quickly track overdue payments and focus on customers with the largest outstanding balances.Produced Trade Reconciliation System in Paradox featuring detailed reports to reconcile trading position records between two disparate systems. Using the comparison, risk managers can scan hundreds of trades daily to instantly pinpoint discrepancies. This protects the Firm from potentially significant losses. The system provides daily and monthly analyses of positions and estimated-versus-actual cash flows.Designed and developed Hardware/Software Tracking system in Microsoft Access. It enables management to assign and revoke licenses for software, and produces auditing reports.

Systems DevelopmentCo-designed and developed Derivatives Credit Risk monitoring system to consolidate the Bank's derivative products, computing maximum exposure and capital risk. Written in Paradox, it is run monthly and executes in approximately four hours, replacing a two-week process by a full-time analyst. The system downloads multiple transaction files from the Bank's mainframe databases totaling over 75,000 transactions. After the system checks the data for validity, it computes risk-per-transaction and produces exposure reports by customer, including three-month variances. The final product provides a complete portfolio report for senior management.

Developed Special Projects applications for Energy Delivery
