As the Principal Architect I planned out all aspects of the SaaS application, and as the sole engineer for most of my time at Waterlily I personally implemented those plans. Integrated our Artificial Intelligence model with a 3rd-party form provider and migrated from Databricks and to self-hosting in AWS, reducing the processing time for AI calls from a 30 second average to only 200 milliseconds.Redesigned and re-wrote the back end reducing response times from 1-3 seconds to under 20 milliseconds while also integrating client-side caching with change preview for even more of a boost.
