I once heard; to have a long career, You need to Zig, when everyone else Zags. I took that advise to heart and never looked back.My formal background is in finance and consulting. My passion is in art and design. I got my head around how technology works. And now, I want to put it all together to create meaningful outcomes for businesses.Creativity is what I bring to the table. And to be creative is to be able to see what most others miss out. And to see possibilities, I mix, mash and blend completely unrelated business models, industry practices and design elements.And this is why I opted to learn carpentry on youtube as opposed to buying a desk, spent my life savings trying to break a Guinness world record, switched from a stable career in finance & consulting to an unknown area, and committed myself to learn programming.I've learnt that as businesses face an uncertain future, they're looking for creative ways to solve problems. And creativity won't come from specialists, consultants and the experts. Not from those whose thinking has grown accustomed to the set ways of the industry. Not from those who claim to know-it-all.Creativity will come from those who zig, when everyone else zags.
