I’m a senior executive, entrepreneur and qualified accountant. During my 25+ year career, I’ve demonstrated my aptitude for translating strategy into action and results. Well qualified, I’m a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). My career has been spent in leading roles across financial services, oil and gas, commercial property and the public sectors. In 2003, I identified a gap in the market for SME accounting and tax advisory. Initially partnering with a small client base alongside my full-time employment, I quickly recognised that a huge demand for such services existed. In 2009, I decided to devote all of my energy to the venture and DFO Consulting was born.I’ve since grown the scope of the company, and while our primary focus remains on core accounting and tax support, we now offer consultancy services to businesses and individuals. The client base comprises various sized businesses and high-net-worth individuals in the UK and overseas. As Managing Partner, I run the practice, from setting the business strategy and driving technical excellence to marketing and overseeing administrative matters, all while playing a hands-on role in client engagements. Treating all clients as priority clients, I’m committed to delivering a strong return on investment whether the objective is accounting propriety, tax compliance, cost savings or competitive advantage.I’ve been invited to the board of several clients having built relationships of trust and proven my propensity for adding value.
