• Responsible for the installation supervision for assigned projects in the cement and power industry.• Maintenance and repair of machines and plants.• Manpower planning on site for various jobs.• Training of customer personnel with regard to maintenance and repair of our machines.• Assurance of our quality standards during the installation of machine and plant components supplied by us.• Technical elaborations/audits with regard to installation supervision.• Comply with all relevant company and statutory health and safety procedures and guidelines.Project / Key Accomplishment:• Removal and replacement of Renk COPE Drive Motor (Compact Planetary Electric Drive) at LafageHolcim Calabar, Cross River State Nigeria. • Installation supervision of two Coal Grinding Plants supplied by LOESCHE, including the installation of two Vertical Roller Grinding Mills (LM 24.3). • Installation supervision of Line 7 Clinker Grinding Plants supplied by LOESCHE including the installation of Vertical Roller Grinding Mills (LM 63.3+3 CS with LCD 107 Classifier) at Dangote Cement Plant Ibese, Ogun State, Nigeria.• Commissioning of LOESCHE Vertical Roller Grinding Mills (LM 53+3 CS with LSKS 75 Classifier) at Dangote Cement Plant Douala, Cameroon.• Inspection of grinding parts at Dangote Cement Plant in Dakar, Senegal.• Supervision of pedestal reinforcement on Ibese Raw Mill B at Dangote Plant Ibese, Nigeria.• Repair of rod head failure at LafageHolcim Calabar, Cross River State Nigeria. • Replacement of leaking cylinders and changing of hydraulic cylinder sealing at Cemangola Plant in Angola. • Replacement of Flender gearbox for coal mill, installation of raw mill classifier gearbox, inspection of grinding parts for both cement mill and raw mill at Dangote Cement Plant in Congo Brazzaville.• Installation supervision of LM 56.4 raw mill and 2 LM 53.3+3 cement mill at BUA Cement Plc in Nigeria.• Flender gearbox training in Germany.

•Monitoring the plant for optimal output and excellent performance.•Starting up equipment, troubleshoot problems and taking corrective actions to maximize the efficient operation of the Plant. •Conduct running, stoppage and shutdown inspection of all equipment for defects •Participate in equipment and failure analysis, problems and corrective actions implementation•Assists the Planner(s) with development and maintenance of accurate equipment parts catalogues utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (IBM MAXIMO 7.5). •Ensures full utilization of IBM MAXIMO 7.5 in accordance with Lafarge Best Practices.•Operation of Plant auxiliaries (Water and Air Treatment Plants, Gas Conditioning Tower GCT) and subgroups on local control and local test.•Co-ordinate, as a Line Manager, the development and implementation of the Plant’s SHE strategy & program and SHE objectives in line with the Group’s safety advisories, safety standards and Corporate objectives.•Develops, Implements, maintains and improves the Plant SHE Management Systems including achieving and maintaining SOPs, Work Instructions.•Monitors equipment operation and solve problems throughout the plant as required, including process drift, pre-heater blockage, etc.•Performs first level and specific maintenance activities throughout the plant as required in order to maximize equipment operation and minimize equipment downtime.•Operates the individual equipment on test mode when such equipment is on maintenance.•Carries out any other Production-related activities as required by the Production Manager.•Coordinate with Maintenance Department on scheduled Plant maintenance and shutdown.•Performing field checks and troubleshoot all aspects of raw mill, kiln and finish mill systems in compliance with Company's quality standards and requirements.•Maintain safety of self and all coverage areas during inspection activities by compliance to safety requirement/procedure.
