I have performed as a pianist for the Lewiston Civic Theatre (lctheatre.org) since 2019. Since 2015, I have served as an elections volunteer for Nez Perce County to register voters and support the precincts at the Nez Perce County Fair Building. I follow the Idaho Election Code and other state laws to provide voting accessibility and transparency.

As a member of Deloitte's Transactions Acceleration Group (TAG), I delivered timely buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence reports focused on EBITDA, Net Working Capital, and Net Debt schedules. I identified normalizing and other financial adjustment to EBITDA, NWC, and ND. Leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLMs), I was able to analyze data and produce reports efficiently. I also conducted on-site and virtual management interviews, analyzed trending data, cleansed incoming financial data, and leveraged firm standards to produce reports outlining our diligence findings. The FDD reports were then leveraged by clients for valuation, reps & warranties, and other transaction purposes including determining the transaction purchase price.

As a senior at Cotton & Company, I led multiple simultaneous federal grant performance audits of universities and non-profits using client, auditee, and federal criteria including 2 CFR 220 and 2 CFR 200 in accordance with GAO Yellow Book standards. My duties included coordinating with stakeholders to meet milestones, conducting virtual site visits, reviewing staff work product and providing training and feedback, and performing general ledger analysis and data analytic tests in IDEA.

At Cotton & Company, I participated in a financial statement audit where I conducted beginning balance and interim attribute testing in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS) and the standards applicable to financial statement audits contained in Government Auditing Standards (GAS).I participated in cost-incurred performance audits of federal grant funds issued to universities, each of which involves a preliminary survey phase that leads to a recommendation for whether a performance, internal control, or accounting system audit should be performed. I prepared audit workpapers and test transactions for various universities and grant recipients.I participated in audits of universities' implementation of the temporary Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) administration flexibilities issued by OMB and the related federal grant implementation guidance.I participated in a performance audit of an institution awarded Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) grants, the focus of which is to evaluate whether costs claimed are supported, allowable, allocable, reasonable, and in compliance with federal grant award terms and conditions and federal requirements.I participated in a federal fraud forensic investigation to determine the extent of fraud and what penalties may arise under the False Claims Act.

After serving as Program Director for one summer, I was promoted to Unit Director of the BGCLCV Challengers Program. In this position, I supervised and evaluated 13 program staff and 14 volunteers. I was able to work with Lewiston Parks and Recreation, LCCU, Clarkston School District, and other community partners to provide unique and beneficial programs for Club members. I continued to act as a disciplinary and guiding agent for Club member behavior while communicating with parents about Club members and general Club issues. I also continued working with the Club's database to enter payments, complete daily deposits, and enter Club member information into the program. Lastly, I continued to drive the Club's bus to daily activities in the LC Valley.

Through ASLCSC, I was able to connect concerns from students to the school's administration and the Idaho State Board of Education, even going as far as to field questions from the Idaho Senate Joint Finance Appropriations Committee. I developed a student activity fee change proposal to the LCSC administration which was to be implemented the following year with a specific increase to fund a new student supported recreation/wellness facility. I sat on hiring and discipline boards while representing the student body. Every week, I created agendas and conducted the student council's public meetings. Before the year started, I planned and organized an informational retreat for the incoming council. In addition, I assisted my nine council members with ideas and projects that they wanted to see completed on campus including the Graduation Banquet, Craft Fair, and Leaf Raking Competition.

Through the Peer Mentor Program, I was able to coach and guide incoming freshman students through their first year of college. While instructing the twice-weekly class, I was able to act as support for students and provide them information that would help them be successful in college. I also acted as a lead Orientation Assistant by speaking to all incoming freshman at orientation and speaking to a classroom fielding general questions about the college experience.

Tutoring accounting classes truly helped me build an appreciation with the profession. I was able to provide academic assistance to students in not only accounting classes, but also business, statistics, and other classes. I coordinated with business faculty to effectively present material and assist students with relevant content to help them succeed in their studies.

As Program Director and Assistant Unit Director, I supervised and evaluated the programs of 10 program staff. I enacted guidance and disciplinary measures for unruly Club member behavior and consulted with parents concerning behavior or other Club issues. Through the Club Database, I entered paments, completed daily deposits, and updated member information. In addition, I obtained a Class B commercial driver's license with air brake, school bus, and passenger endorsements to drive the Club's bus to and from activities.

Working with kids is one of the most rewarding activities that I have ever found. As a Youth Development Professional, I was able to provide programs and activities that developed club members through the promotion of belongingness, usefulness, influence, and competence. I monitored and evaluated program areas to ensure safety. Through this experience, I was able to grow my interpersonal, problem solving, and creativity skills.

Working at Presnell Gage provided me insight and confirmed for me that I wanted to work in the accounting profession. Through my administrative position, I processed incoming tax documents, filed tax working papers, and assembled completed tax returns. I was able to strengthen my time management, interpersonal, and detailed-orientation skills.
