A 12-month collaboration with Auckland’s economic development and cultural agency Tātaki Auckland Unlimited and west Auckland iwi Te Kawerau ā Maki to create a vision and supporting economic framework for place-based urban regeneration in Henderson named Te Puna.The vision: A world-class centre of excellence for the creative industries of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, where indigenous identity and multi-cultural integrity are woven throughout, and innovation and artistic expression can thrive. Home to a well-equipped and well-connected creative, arts and technology community, whose mahi uplifts our region’s mana as a global creative capital.With high concentrations of creative facilities, educational institutions, businesses and talent, Henderson has been the epicentre of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland’s creative sector for more than 25 years. The framework blends spatial and economic planning, looking at the region with an economic lens, it considers what the local economy could be known for or aspire to be, and how this can be achieved. Leveraging the area’s existing strengths to develop a world-class creative quarter, will increase education and training pathways, generate highly skilled jobs, nurture talent, strengthen community, foster collaboration, spark innovation and grow investment in the west.

A 14-month collaboration with Screen Auckland / Tātaki Auckland Unlimited to develop a robust Screen Industry Roadmap to assist the agency and industry in navigating a number of significant strategic challenges. Among these were the impacts of COVID 19 on screen production, the exit of The Lord Of The Rings television series, major changes to the district plan threatening location filming in the region, critical talent shortages and stakeholder management.Roadmap development spanned qualitative research and stakeholder engagement, strategy development (audience insight mapping, messaging, actions / outputs, timescales, budgets, channel planning, measurement and reporting), and continued through project management and assistance with execution through the delivery phase.Additional work streams included assisting the team to develop an international screen production attraction marketing strategy, refining the customer value proposition, developing the operational scope and creative briefs for engaging a top Los Angeles & London based Screen PR agency to assist with building market awareness of Auckland as a production desination, and working with nominated screen industry leaders to develop a consultation framework and presentation documents for engaging mana whenua and council, seeking support for changes to the District Plan.

Pairing AI / machine learning with behavioral economics Moneyfit's app and coaching programme is designed to get users financially fit and strong - fast. A team of qualified money coaches help you to determine what you're capable of financially, formulating a personalised action plan then holding you accountable with regular monthly check-ins.As acting Head of Brand & Marketing through the development phase, I oversaw market research (qual / quant) brand development, UX / CX design, agency procurement, supplier management, development of a sales / marketing strategy for launch, strategic partnerships, content development for in app learning and customer onboarding. All work was completed on time and budget and a Head of Marketing recruited for a formal handover prior to launch.

The first project, Mt Dewar is New Zealand’s largest ever commercially funded native reforestation project with:- 99% of the mountain restored and returned to nature- 50+km’s of publicly accessible hiking and biking trails- 400ha of restored native beech forest- 0.1% of the land occupied by buildings- 80% of 53 home sites designated small footprint (<100sqm) to increase affordability / lower environmental impact∞ Infinite value of future carbon sequestration / returning the dawn chorus to the Wakatipu basin
