Over the last five years, I have spent my career exploring the craft of Software Engineering. Through a variety of roles and projects, I have had the opportunity to put my hands on many different technologies. Paramount among things I am proud of are architecting an automated onboarding experience for the Axon platform by having their profile, credentials, billing, and mailing lists handled automatically, reducing build times by 30% for 365 Retail Markets' mobile offerings, building custom OAuth 2.0 flows for point-of-sale solutions, and converting a React Native codebase into TypeScript shortly after joining. Beyond writing code, I find immense fulfillment in helping teams work better and faster. I’ve mentored junior developers, guiding them from learning the basics of the codebase to becoming contributors who deliver features on time and enhance team culture. My goal is always to leave a team better than when I joined—whether that’s through improved documentation, thoughtful communication with stakeholders, or fostering a more collaborative environment.For me, growth has often come in the spaces beyond heads-down coding: understanding people, aligning on vision, and creating processes that enable teams to thrive.
