Working within the Graduate Research Centre (GRC) at the Queensland University of Technology I am responsible for: liaising with students, agents, client service officers, principal supervisors, and faculty members. Enrolling students. Preparing offers for successful applicants. Creating and distributing Confirmation of Enrollment letters. Writing, editing and distributing post graduate research communications collateral to various stakeholders.

I was initially employed by Queensland Health to assist Metro North IT (MNIT) with the rollout of the new Winscribe Text dictation program at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH). This project involved learning how to operate the program myself, and then teaching it to a large number of medical clinicians, via one-on-one training sessions. Due to the conclusion of the official Winscribe rollout, I was moved from MNIT to the Health Information Services (HIS) at the RBWH. At HIS I assisted with anything Winscribe related, while also conducting follow up training sessions for clinicians. In addition to this I also filed off vast amounts of medical data using the hospital-based corporate information system (HBCIS).

During my tenure at Football Queensland (FQ) I undertook a wide variety of tasks such as: writing match previews and reviews. Researching and producing feature content for the Football Queensland website. Conducting interviews with players, coaches, volunteers and referees. Producing community feature content. Assisting with FQ’s social media content and assisting with media operations, including updating databases, compiling media reports and coordinating media accreditation.
