CurrentStudent Success Educator (March 2024 - Current)Student Success Educator (Equity) (February 2023 - March 2024)The Student Success Educator (Equity), within the Student Success and Teaching Advancement portfolio, actively contributes to the retention, academic success, and career progression of equity and academically at-risk students.Key Responsibilities and Achievements:• Coordinating Student Success Campaigns: Plan and execute targeted, timely, and inclusive Student Success campaigns aligned with significant student milestones, such as commencing university studies, failing a first-semester assessment, facing academic sanctions, or returning from a Leave of Absence.• Deepening Retention Practice: Identify opportunities and implement strategies to refine and broaden student retention practices, including optimising campaign alignment and understanding student needs through the ongoing development of the student risk progression profile.• Strengthening Partnerships: Collaborate with educators, academics, faculty members, and university support services to initiate student retention strategies and promote equal opportunities for academic achievement.• Evaluation and Reporting: Assess engagement outcomes and campaign effectiveness, proactively identify emerging student needs, and deliver insightful data-informed reports for decision-making.• Resource and Material Development: Design and develop innovative and strengths-based subject area and discipline-specific curricula, materials, support for learning tools, principles, and practices.• Daily Operations: Manage daily operations encompassing CRM administration, scheduling and supervising Student Success Guides, feedback collection processes, and compliance with health and safety policies.
