Managed operations and IT infrastructure. I brought NetSuite into the company and managed the implementation processes for the CRM, BOM, Finances, and customizations. I managed several departments before settling into the role of NetSuite Administrator.

As the Chief Operating Officer for Smash Innovations I oversee the operations of the organizations to meet the business goals and projections. Close collaboration with the CEO and producer of reports on the company operations. I empower the operational team with leadership and resources to successfully complete initiatives. I partner with other C-level executives to accomplish both short and long term goals. I also work with new business development, all legal aspects, operational performance to develop plans to improve relevant key performance indicators. I was elevated to this position from being the former Chief Technology Officer for the company where I provide executive-level direction for the company with a focus on scientific and technological issues. I am responsible for all technical development projects, products and use of technology in the company and the management and direction of the IT Department. I evaluate business and technology concepts, marketing and sales systems, and work with my various departments within the company to create the processes, functional specifications, prototypes, and the SaaS products our customers use. I report directly to the Executive Team which I am a key part of.

I am a technology and marketing specialist with both senior executive hands-on design and development expertise in creating desktop, web, video, and print products, services, and events for various clients.Whether its producing a television show, desktop application, web solution, or hardware device, it's all marketing at some point. Using skills and tools that I have mastered over the years like: Business Management, Directorship, or technical skills in web and application development or creative design, I use my experience and best practices while remaining open to learning new methods.

As Producer and Host, I took on all facets of a 30 minute, weekly television show airing 26 episodes per season I was the lead editor and the main Host of the show and also took on sponsorship sales and marketing of production for the television show. The TV show was used as a marketing arm for sales of current video products and other outdoor related products.

Sport fishing magazine founded by my father Richard Potter and I. I developed the advertising model and content acquisition solution to secure over $800,000 in comped trips around the world annually to gather written, photo, and video content for our publication. Through internet, word of mouth, co-op advertising, trade shows, and television marketing we gained a world wide audience of nearly 2 million viewers in just under 2 years and established FishWithUs.Net as the first online outdoor sports magazine to gain such a wide global reach.

My title was Online Specialist and Group Technologist with responsibilities for creating Distance Learning Solutions, Technical Sales Training, Supporting Video and Audio Productions and working with many departments internally to educate the Microsoft World Wide Sales Organization on functionality and competitive Cost-of-Ownership. I also handled the review and recommendation of emerging hardware and software technologies for the sales organization at Microsoft. I had direct interaction with Bill Gates, Steve Ballmer, and Jeff Raikes on an ongoing basis.

Began as Technical Support Engineer for ToolBook, Web3D, and the OpenScript language. Advanced to become a Consultant traveling to work with many large companies developing customized solutions and course management systems for educational and employee advancement systems.

Initially, I began working on the 166 ft Alaska Mist fishing vessel in the shipyards of Seattle to help build the boat via welding, electrical wiring, and general labor. I then took the vessel to Dutch Harbor, Alaska where I performed general commercial fisherman duties in the rough seas of the Bearing Sea. I went on to work on other commercial fishing vessels and attended Fire Fighting Training School, Survival at Sea Training, Ocean Navigation Training, Pyrotechnics Training, and seamanship Training in an effort to obtain my USCG First Mates and ultimately my USCG 1600 Ton Masters License.
