Unilife offered a role with flexible hours, allowing to work around the university timetable. Roles include:• Ensuring that the company’s online presence is maintained via multiple social media channels.• Meeting with the head of marketing to develop campaigns and explore creative methods of promoting the company.• Helping to plan and run events for the company and its customers.• Participate in resident feedback sessions, allowing an opportunity to vocalise ideas and issues

After reaching out to the Owner of Documize, they offered their guidance and a chance to contribute to their large-scale open source project Documize community edition, an integrated document environment for businesses.• Learnt the basics of Go and EmberJS within a few months via weekly code evaluation with a member of staff. • Created a Windows Batch file to compile source code of Documize community edition for windows platforms. • Testing all database related functions to aid the integration of different database solutions such as MariaDB alongside MySQL. This required the use of SQL and MySQL workbench to monitor the database and check that tests were running as expected.

What started as a work experience placement at my local gaming store has evolved into a successful long term Job. Working almost every weekend taught me exceptional amount of information about not only the world of sales but the world of work in general. Also in the summer of 2014 I was left to run the store along side another collegue, during this time my responsibilities increased dramatically. To this day I have aided in a number of responsibilities such as: - Stock management and pricing - Providing Good service in stressful environments - Online store web design and development - Equipment maintenance and operation - Sales to both commercial and public parties - Management of staff and event co-ordination

As one of the founders of the website, I was one of the visionaries set to employ new member and aided in the decisions of our future as a company.Once the site was fully operation I became the Community manager tackling goals that involved. - Running social media events and competitions - Operated the advertising of the site - Organizing events for local gaming clubs. - Attending corporate events for Interviews in foreign locations like Germany
