Not For Sale (www.notforsalecampaign.org) is a global non-profit that protects people and communities from human trafficking. I was a leader in NFS’s transition from a traditional grass roots non-profit serving immediate social programs into a global leader engaged in enterprise-based solutions for human trafficking.I broadened NFS's funding from a limited model of retail merchandise, individual giving, and foundation grants to include innovative business strategies, namely brand licensing agreements with revenue sharing and equity donation terms. Under my leadership corporate revenue doubled every year, increasing from 5% to 30% of overall NFS revenue.- Short-term financial impact: Managed $1M+ worth of accounts and negotiated multi-year giving commitments ranging from $5k-$100k of unrestricted funding per year (2-10 years). Expanded brand partners from 2 to 50, which led to 200+ co-branded product SKU's in less than two years. Brand partners ranged from startups to multi-national corporations in North America and Europe.- Long-term financial impact: Negotiated $250k of equity donations from for-profit social enterprises with high growth potential. Contracts for revenue sharing are on a trajectory to generate over $5M in the next 10 years. The rapid success of the brand licensing program afforded me the opportunity to contribute to thought-leadership in the non-profit sector and to take on more responsibility within NFS: - Consulted with leading, global non-profits ($100M+ in revenue) on fundraising with equity and licensing models. - Expanded the scope of my leadership within NFS to include restructuring and managing the individual and foundation donor fundraising team ($2M+ worth of accounts). Reorganized a multinational, multigenerational fundraising team by way of talent recruitment, day-to-day mentoring, individual goal setting, and Salesforce cloud-based reporting.
