About Samuel R. Roberts

Since High School I have been machining. I have always enjoyed taking a piece of material and making it come to life. Not only to life but to meet the exacting dimensions that the print specifies. Not only should it look good it should perform like it is supposed to. I take great pride in seeing the finish part. A lot has changed since I first learned about grinding turning tools and drill bits. New tooling has changed the way we think about material removal. I have seen feed rates improve over 20 times faster than what I learned in school. I remember a time when a 4500 RPM spindle in a mill was something few machine shops owned. Now we have 12000 RPM and greater spindles. It is my goal to not only meet your needs but to exceed in every way possible. I want you to have a part that you can say with pride that was made by the craftsmen at 3D-Machine.
