I am a Web Developer currently in the process of learning new skills and technologies. I graduated in the field of Computer Science from San Diego State University where I studied programming using languages such as Python, C++, C#, and JavaScript. I also studied at LEARN Academy, learning Full Stack web development utilizing technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, React, and Ruby on Rails.During my time at San Diego State University, I honed a wide variety of skills, both in the field of computer science and general work ability. I learned to become an effective researcher, a skilled writer, and a diligent team-member. I had hands-on experience collaborating with my peers in order to foster an environment in which we can all succeed. For these reasons I believe that my time spent earning a degree not only gained me the practical skill required for my field, but also a plethora of experience that can be applied to all other facets of work and life.I am always looking for ways to use my education to work with others and solve problems. During my time as an intern with San Diego Startup Map, I became familiar with working in an Agile development setting. I gained experience working directly with product owners and creating a strong routine with my coworkers. I look forward to being able to put these skills to further use in the future, as well as picking up new strengths.
