Primarily, I represent financial institutions in commercial financial service litigation, including lending disputes, consumer complaints, regulatory enforcement actions, foreclosures, secured transactions, and check/ACH/wire transfer fraud disputes. You will find that I fight zealously for clients, achieving superior results in court or in settlement. Over the course of my career, I have tried cases to juries, to judges, and to arbitrators. I have represented both sides of the aisle in business, investment, financial, debt collection, receivership, construction, municipal, and employment disputes. I am familiar with alternative dispute resolution, and engage it as a tool under the appropriate circumstances. I am licensed to practice in state courts across Texas, and in the federal courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Texas and the United States Court of Appeals for 5th Circuit. I have handled both state and federal appeals. Ideally, my practice balances my skills as a litigator with my passion for helping others. It is the foundation of my legal career and remains my underlying motivation for working in the justice system to this day.
