The engine was written in Python, using TCP sockets and an XML-based communication protocol to support user authentication, encryption, sessions, interactive transactions, and scheduled batch jobs.Architect and programmer for a new airline reservation system while continuing to maintain and develop new features for an older one. Both systems serviced all facets of an airline's operation, including reservations, flight scheduling, gate operations, revenue management, mileage tracking, and interfacing with third-party systems.
