Working as an In-House Legal Counsel for Pacific International Insurance has gained me experience in both the Insurance Industry and as the 'Dual-Hatted Lawyer'. My role sits within the Risk & Compliance team of the organisation. I was fortunate enough to be one of the first people to join the expanding team designed and picked by the Chief Risk Officer. As a lawyer, and a young professional, I have gained profound knowledge, skills and insights from this position. Since beginning with Pacific, I have obtained a Legal practising certificate in New Zealand, and New South Wales.While maintaining and enhancing my legal skills in practise, I continue to do Audio Production and DJ-ing both for myself and for private clients on a freelance basis. I have professionally performed in Nightclubs in Auckland such as Mothership, and Saturdays (Formerly) in the Central Business District, and Ahu Bar in Ponsonby in addition to corporate and private functions. I have both music released on all major streaming platforms featuring international artists, as well as production credits for both domestic and international artists.Coming from a background of Performing Arts, previous roles have most recently seen me as a Dance Teacher, as well as a Paintball Marshall. Both roles uplifted my professionalism through strong leadership and opportunities to manage others such as a class or a staff team. Both roles also enhanced my ability to communicate effectively with people from all kinds of unique backgrounds and perspectives.In 2024, I began the journey of further education embarking on a Master of Laws (LLM) at Auckland University of Technology with a specialisation in Intellectual Property.
