Installs and maintains all electrical systems within the Logistics facility as well as any offsite Logistics facilities. Trouble-shoots hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and computer problems. Designs & installs machine modifications and performs complete machine overhauls as necessary. Responsible for electrical installations (including but not limited to transformers, motor controls, process controls, frequency drives, and similar pieces of equipment). Work in all areas of the Maintenance Department as requested including, but not limited to, Plumbing, carpentry, cleaning, grounds, etc. Must be proficient in all of the following areas: Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Computers, PLC & CNC controls.Reports directly to the Logistics Facility Supervisor. Works independently within established guidelines. Position requires a high degree of initiative to devise methods and procedures to accomplish diverse tasks. Must have good interpersonal and analytical problem solving skills. Interfaces on a regular basis with all Logistics, Facilities and Maintenance departments. Trains new employees as needed and may direct peers on special projects. Required to carry a cell phone. Will be on-call as determined by schedule set by Facility Supervisor.
