Our busy, dedicated team facilitate access to confidential medical information under the Data Protection Act, balancing the complex legal obligations to both openness and confidentiality. We work in close contact with patients, solicitors, clinical personnel, local councils and police to provide disclosure of information for a wide range of purposes, including personal injury claims, care proceedings and criminal investigations. We work closely as a team to ensure an efficient service as a department, and maintain our own case loads with personal responsibility for our decisions.
