Nuclear Emergency Preparedness Specialist
CurrentServe as a member of the onsite emergency response organization and support other TVA Nuclear site’s drills, scenario development, and other Emergency Preparedness activities. Provides Nuclear Sites technical expertise and management in the development and maintenance of the Site Emergency Preparedness programs.Maintains site Emergency Preparedness programs to meet Federal Regulations, Operating License requirements, and protective measures for the health and safety of TVA employees and the general public.Develops and maintains SQN Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures.Manages site personnel in the development of Radiological Emergency Preparedness drill and exercise scenarios for the purpose of testing and demonstrating the site Emergency Response Organizations ability to effectively respond to and mitigate radiological emergencies.Implements corrective actions to resolve items identified in NRC, INPO, QA, self-assessments, reviews and audits using Maximo, to ensure program credibility.Operates and maintains the Sequoyah emergency response facilities and emergency equipment maintenance and testing programs.
