- Construction of 2100 Progressive Core Shelters and house hold Toilet units for the Typhoon Haiyan affected population in the Philippines, the role is to work closely and support the Philippine National society in the delivery of the programme. - To reach and assist 2000 house holds affected by Typhoon Haiyan with partially damaged houses with Shelter Repair assistance programme which includes Cash Distribution and technical assistance for repair and safe construction. - Rehabilitation of 15 community Infrastructure fully or partially damaged by Typhoon Haiyan.- Coordinate with all PRC-GRC regions in Philippines for common technical approach.- Cover the gap of Programme Coordinator in Leyte region.- Support the WASH technical components in programme for reconstruction related activities.- Develop and organised training and workshops for Beneficiaries, Volunteers and Carpenters and Masons for various orientation programmes.- Include PASSA as an approach for Shelter interventions in the communities under integrated programme effort with other sectors and DRR components for building up community resilience. - Coordinate with other PNSs and NGOs and regions for various technical issues. - Address the issue of land for the identified beneficiaries and seek resolutions of relocation and options for settlements. - Develop and propose scope of extensions and value additions in the progressive core shelter design.

Scope of work: Lead the team of architects in various transport and architectural detailed design projects. The Atkins office in Gurgaon is an extended studio of the Global Design Centre in India, the primary responsibility is development and delivery of coordinated detailed design packages across a vast variety of projects worldwide.Major responsibilities:- Coordinated detailed design deliver of Gate No 7 design , Jebel Ali Port- DP world- Involvement in the Preliminary Service Agreement with the Lead Project office of WS Atkins in Dubai for the concept design development of Shallow underground Stations in Package 3 of Riyadh Metro Line – Saudi Arabia.- Design and development of detailed tender package of architectural scope for Doha metro Depots and Stabling Yard.

Scope of work: Detailed Design consultant for 12 underground stations including 3 interchange stations, the architectural scope covers adequate planning based on international station planning standards and guidelines including NFPA analysis, detailed design development and production of GFC for construction reference, architectural proposal for DMRC on various architectural features in design and identification of appropriate materials and products, support in acquiring clearance from local authorities for construction works and financial evaluation at various stages of project progress.Major responsibilities:Detailed design development of 12 underground stations including 3 Interchange Stations. Design coordination with E&M, DMRC interface team and civil contractors on design issues. Coordination with system wide contractors for design requirement.

Construction of 3400 Tansitional Shelter Homes for the West Sumatera Sept 09 Earthquake affected communities.The Project was a great sucess of doing a shelter programme with cash and technical support component, the community participation and its sensitivity to sustainalble design and execution promoting best construction practices had been the key leanings of sucess from the project.The six month project was sucessfully delivered on time.
