My role was to act as expert/specialist at fine paper production department. My tasks included to develop product quality, measurements and methods; participating in cost and production efficiency projects and troubleshooting; and acting as Technical Customer Service Manager substitute.• Observed and reported safety notifications reaching number one in my own team and top listed also at mill level, raised discussion on topical subjects• Reduced specific chemical cost by 20 % in Six Sigma Green Belt project resulting significant savings • Arranged tens of succesfull full scale trials to deliver desired new information• Improved several recipes and machine running parameteres to achieve cost savings, machine effiency or better quality• Created and validated totally new quality assurance method to tackle future customer claims• Refined several measurement techniques to better find and prevent quality defects• Led a small project in order to demonstrate abilities of new technique to discover possible faults during mill shutdown• Proofed a concept not working which stopped speculation of probable investment• Avoided customer claim costs examining thoroughly given data, drew conclusions and provided alternative causes and solutions• Selected to join GROW-trainee program among 26 young talents to network, learn and promote company culture, values and leadership themes• Colloborated with internal and external, domestic and international stakeholders to work within projects and day-to-day activities. These stakeholders were f.ex. production, laboratory, sales, customer service, order planning, direct customers, chemical and machinery suppliers.
