My responsibilities included development and support of Global Backup Solution which was used to back up production SCM databases on all of Nokia R&D sites. I started the planning an implementation of Test system to automate installation and testing of new internal and external Software releases targeted to be taken into use on our production servers. However, this task was not completed before Nokia decided to end all activities in Jyväskylä so I was forced to find a new job.I also provided support for Global SCM coordinator network in Administration of Synergy services.

My main tasks were close collaboration with Build Managers to get the feedback from them and train them new Processes, Administration of the Synergy servers (Solaris, Veritas Cluster, Telelogic Synergy and NetApp disk system) and close Co-operation with local Server administration organization. After learning the environment I started to provide support to colleagues worldwide and help Sites that had larger workload. I was also asked to be part of the development of Global Backup Solution (In-house tool for Synergy backups) and later on all the development activities related to GBS became my responsibility.
