I have the privilege of being part of the Plant Engineering department at Lincoln Electric. My position has afforded me the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects which favorably fit my computer engineering background. My project experiences range from database administration, production support, process control and automation to long term strategic projects. Some of my responsibilities include:- Programming applications for National Instruments controllers using LabVIEW.- PLC programming using various ladder logic software.- Python application development.- Drafting electrical prints using AutoCAD Electrical and MicroStations.- Sizing and specifying hardware.- Program/design applications for various HMI devices such as Panelview and Beijer.- Equipment upgrades and troubleshooting.- Hardware and software design of automated test equipment.- Creating and managing SQL databases, views, triggers, stored procedures, etc.- Implementing and maintaining data acquisition systems.- Training team members on our database and data collection system.- Issuing work orders, purchase orders, developing work instructions.- Working as part of a team and communicating with different groups of the organization to achieve common goals and maximize efficiency and productivity.
