    After selling my racetrack I went to work at Brown's where I learned all about the awards business. I started as an assembler, then engraver, worked as bookkeeper for 18 months and then became assistant general manager. The last six years I was there I operated one of the company's satellite stores in Brandon. In 1987 I had the opportunity to buy my current company in Tallahassee and moved my wife Nancy and two sons here. No regrets!

    Croom Motocross was my first venture into entrepreneurism. Race days were always a blast and the highlight was hosting the 1975 Winter Nationals. What a hoot! Sold the racetrack and went to work for Brown's Trophies, the company that used to sell me trophies for my races. That's how I ended up in the awards business.
