I'm not your typical Media Sales Executive. My background as a trusted leader to the executive suite in the for-profit commercial broadcasting arena started at my first job at a local radio station. Later, I took that experience into this ultra-competitive business and have thrived in it for more than 30 years. No doubt, growing up in an entrepreneurial family set the foundation for my success in this business. I worked for CBS Radio—twice—rising to market leadership and corporate roles, including Audacy (formerly Entercom), Urban One and Cumulus.Serving as SVP for Audacy, one of the largest radio broadcast companies in the country, I deliver YOY revenue with an outstanding sales team. We grow revenues across a 45-market footprint through our national audio platform and spot business. I lead the national sales and corporate partnerships organization to meet market performance, and by tapping into my global network of contacts, I ensure we gain upfront commitments with our largest advertisers. In short, I am known for always optimizing the yield as a fierce negotiator with a passion for the art of deal making. Whether tasked to grow revenue in the political, government, spot or network space or sell more inventory at a high price point nationwide or scale a company to take advantage of our footprint, I am committed to excellence. While my network is deep, I genuinely enjoy the excitement of developing relationships at the highest levels to gain influence.With experience working for publicly traded companies, I am adept at navigating through complexity with an agile leadership style. Working in a highly competitive industry has honed my sales and financial acumen, negotiation skills, ability to recruit top talent and gift for leading with influence across the organization. Challenges notwithstanding, I enjoy watching my efforts have an impact on a company and its customers. In fact, I am well known for using my creativity to inevitably find a way to make things work.
