This was an amazing role that researched barriers to technology and broadband internet access. I did research in addition to helping folks in eastern Illinois get access to subsidized laptops and hot-spots that were provided by the state of Illinois. - I designed a longitudinal study and collected data from over 400 participants in Excel, and used Python data science tools like Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and statistical packages to transform and visualize data- I used Pandas and SQL techniques to merge data from three different sources while maintaining data quality and integrity by handling null values, missing data, and outliers- I presented study findings using data visualizations and dashboards in computational notebooks and slides during team meetings- I worked with mutliple partners including non-profits, state agencies, and researchers to validate data, communicate results, and make decisions about future directions- Coordinated 3 graduate students and 10 volunteers to collect data
