I serve as a Leader and Organizational Psychologist with Academic and Professional experience in Healthcare, Leadership, Mental Health, and Organizational Psychology in the public and private sectors. I am dedicated to promoting inclusive workplaces, social health, mental wellness, and quality of life worldwide and an Advocate for accessible care for mental health and healthcare for marginalized populations.I focus on mission and meaning, the integrity of leadership, team member success, and executives as partners in creating a moral and noble enterprise. A few highlights from my career include the following:•Designed and launched strategic health equity and well-being programs to promote incentive-based rewards, senior fitness programs, and initiatives to educate on community health.. •Implemented a central governance committee to create awareness and executive buy-in by revealing bottlenecks, process gaps, reporting complexities, and data inefficiencies. •Transformed organizational framework of ‘agile ways of working’ from onsite to virtual as organizations moved to remote during the COVID pandemic. •Doctoral dissertation analyzing the effects of language selection as a factor in minority career outcomes.•Contributed to a white paper on the future of I/O Psychology and developments disrupting the social nature of work. I am a Partner Faculty Member and Lecturer at the University of Louisville, teaching master’s courses in Population Health, Healthcare System Sciences, and Healthcare Leadership. I enjoy bringing my real-world experience to give a face to the next generation of healthcare leaders.My research includes the interplay of neuroleadership, gender, and critical discourse analysis. I am fascinated by the influence of written words and language structures in research and popular publications and how they affect readers' perception of their ability to succeed. I enjoy public speaking to interest groups and conferences about the impact of media on men and masculinity, the effects of psychosocial support on goal attainment in impoverished communities, healthcare leadership and management, mental health for leaders, and the mind-brain connection in self-fulfilling prophecies.
