First business at age 11 - selling 'Fireball' Gobstoppers and 'Beer Bottle' sweets to school friends. Progressed on to selling picture key rings, yo-yo's, home-made fudge and sandwiches. Started guest listing for London clubs at the age of 15, then organised my own club nights, balls and parties at 17. Travelled the World for a year, funded by organising parties for backpackers and working as a Divemaster. Returned to UK for University and founded Tequila Society UK - a club night dedicated to the oral delights of Tequila. Took the concept to other Universities and by the Summer of 1996, I was running club nights in 6 different cities. As one outlet, we were responsible for 5% of the UK Jose Cuervo Tequila sales. Formed Wellpleased Events as a limited company in July 1996 to concentrate on organising corporate and private events. First event was an office party for Bradford and Bingley, second event was a 4-day half million pound wedding for fashion designer Betsy Johnson. Since then, we have organised parties all over the UK and Europe - from the slopes of a mountain in the Alps to the back of a 220ft motor yacht in Sardinia and down a cave in the Lake District. Our clients include GE Money, ASDA, Lloyds TSB, BMW, KPMG, Cisco Systems, Teenage Cancer Trust and Sony to name a few.Specialties: Organising the best events in the World ever!
