Developed and led an online store offering personalised typographic and illustrative wall art for the gifting market. The first website globally to offer such products with instant previews enabling customers to see a preview of their item prior to ordering.Led the business to sales of seven figures per annum with a total of over a quarter of a million orders, as a small team of four people.Key responsibilities:• Designed and built a full custom e-commerce platform specifically for personalised printed products, including full front and backend development. (Tech stack: Python, Django, Celery, Redis, Postgresql, Node.js, Puppeteer, Headless Chromium, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Heroku)• Led the integration with suppliers to automate order fulfillment. Managed the fulfillment relationships as we grew the business into different markets globally.• Led the creation of over 40 different customisable products by the team, integrating the graphic designs with our personalisation system.• Led the management of Google and Facebook advertising campaigns with six figure budgets during the peak Christmas period, and oversaw content creation for the marketing campaigns.

Worked at EG Technology, a Cambridge based Product Engineering Design Consultancy with specialist experience working with biotech/medical startups, as well as consumer products.Key responsibilities:• Mechanical, Industrial and UX Design of products for a variety of clients during all stages of development from concept, through prototyping, iterative design and finally to design for manufacture.• Worked with clients to develop product specifications and establish how best to translate their technology into a commercial product.• Full 3D CAD modeling, engineering drawings and CGI visualisations of the products. (SolidWorks, Creo, Keyshot)• Collaborated with a multidisciplinary team on a daily basis, integrating the electrical engineering and embedded software into full products.• Worked within the ISO 13485 quality framework on medical product development.

Sought out a placement year in industry, as part of University degree, working on multiple projects from initial concept through to design for manufacture. Invited to return permanently after finishing university.
