About Sam Wilson

Hello, I’m Sam Wilson, and I’m here to use my skills and experience in analysing data, implementing business solutions and developing conceptual models to demonstrate opportunities within your business. In my current role at TAC as an Insights Specialist, I provide expert advice and engage closely with the business to provide insights and recommendations using our data-led approach to implement client-driven improvements. By analysing client experience data, I have developed plans, strategies and campaigns to enhance our client’s journey, positioning us as a leader in client experience. I am focused on developing stakeholder engagement, business analysis and continuous improvement. I am also an experienced change analyst who can combine my project management skills and love for research to help people live and work better. I am a bubbly, people person who thrives on the opportunity to build relationships and to achieve more together. In a previous role as a Data Consultant at TAC, I supported the Rapid Recovery and Scheme Performance Divisions to use our data to improve claim management and provide recommendations and actionable steps to the business. Previously at Transurban, I worked as a Technology Business Analyst for technological and customer transformational and integration projects and customer journey uplift.I have a passion for collaboration and relationship building. I am the type of person who creates opportunities, whether for myself, clients, my community, or the company I work for. Outside of my 9 to 5, I am the founder of Sober Mates. This is a community, an educational platform and a place to go where you can explore your drinking habits. I’ve been in the roads industry for most of my career. I first thought that I fell into the industry, but through further analysis, I’ve realised that this is precisely the industry I want to be in. I remember drawing ideas for TAC’s ‘Wipeoff 5’ campaign and the excitement for the country roads I grew up on being upgraded with wire rope barriers and its road safety improvements the barriers gave. Watching our truck heavy roads' potholes continuously be improved. Being obsessed with TAC’s ‘Graham’ sculpture. Heading to the Road to Zero complex at the Melbourne Museum as a part of the Road Safety Initiative I led at Transurban. To now using data to improve client outcomes at TAC. Delivering projects that enhance road safety for all lives on our roads is what I’m here to do. Reach out to me if you want to talk about a new opportunity where we can work together, email sam@sobermates.com.au
