My role at Indra as senior project manager/deputy programme manager is to support a programme of work, for an air industry related infrastructure project. Indra is working in collaboration with two other organisations delivering an infrastructure design. The project had experienced delays and had not met the early deliverables. The focus of my role is to bring the project back on track in order to successfully deliver the design by the required date. This was achieved by identifying the root cause for the initial delivery failure and rectifying areas such as project processes, applying appropriate resources and realigning the timescales to bring the project back onto an acceptable time line, as well as ensuring full project assurance and QA is adhered to and visible to the customer.

Whilst at Seagate I managed a number of infrastructure projects related to the merger of Xyratex to Seagate. This was the first of its kind Google to Google migration, of all applications and data. Key Highlights:-• Network Infrastructure refresh to align with Seagate core standards (Riverbeds, Info blox, Palo altos, AD migration) working with IT teams in Asia and US for implementation and support activities.• Installation of Cisco Telepresence and Google Chrome (hangouts) working with teams in Asia, and US for procurement and installation.• UK Project Manager for Phase III of the Endpoint Backup Deployment Program, moving user backups to the Seagate Cloud. Production critical backup and restore capability across the enterprise, ($900,000 budget)• Support for employee on-boarding during the Xyratex/Seagate merger • Clarity software used to plan, track, and report the program budget, schedule, progress.• Hosting daily stand ups• Full accountability for team management, project management/reporting and project financeMore recently I have been managing the migration of an in house ticketing and document management system (XCS/XIC) to the industry standard application “Salesforce and Jive”. 70% of my team resources were based in the US, as well as my key suppliers and business stakeholders. Mid project life cycle , the activities were merged into a larger programme of work.

Working as a Snr Project Manager on the HMS Sultan site at Gosport on behalf of HP. I am responsible for a number of high profile projects, with strict security process and direct interaction with the customer. A number of customers are third party to the MOD.The majority of projects are to migrate the application and user data from the current network to the MOD DII(F) network working with the client and the ATLAS project teams. Where necessary, I also have to provide access to applications not being migrated. I am responsible for the secure disposal of equipment as part of these projects, and this requires lengthy liaison with the MOD security team and MOD Acreditor.I am accountable for project finances (inc. project costing), reporting, all project documentation, project management and HP’s project KPI’s.Other projects I have in flight are:-• JRE upgrade project • Installation and rollout of WSUS
