Hello! My name is Sam Jansen, I'm a Software Engineer and I just graduated with my Bachelors in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati. My largest strengths are my problem solving skills, work ethic, and my ability to work well with others. I'm a full stack developer with a particular interest in user interface design and database design. I really enjoy thinking about how users interact with systems and designing interactions which provide the most functionality with the least frustration.Also in the interest of avoiding frustration, I place an emphasis on documentation. I approach Computer Science as a science, and that means that information needs to be shared in order to benefit as many people as possible. An invention which is not documented is basically a miracle. I also write as a hobby and passion, so I'm a practiced writer and focus on clear concise language. Good documentation is also a key element to working effectively in teams. I fully believe that working fully and openly with others is the only way to conquer the complex problems of the modern programming economy. I also enjoy working in teams, I think it provides a unique opportunity to both learn from and teach others. It's also fun, I've forged lifelong friendships with some of the people I've worked with in the past.
