Also carried out reliability test development and execution● Managed cost improvements in all programs within the R&D organisation● Successfully certified the Test Lab under the UL CTDP scheme according to ISO17025 Standards. I set up the reliability test procedure and metrology lab FAI process for new product qualification as well as off-tool parts measurement. This was done for global launch programs. This initiative saved approximately HKD$3 million / annum over the past four years, primarily due to our building up internal labs qualification / certification testing capability● Led the product benchmarking and tear down analysis which provided good input to the designer on competitor performance. Additionally, I led the product transfer of over 20 SKUs and NPI of steam irons from Singapore to Malaysia within schedule.
