I am a Software Engineer who specializes in communication across all areas of a business from design and finance, to investors, board members, and the C-suite. I prefer to make calculated strategic decisions, but have a unique ability to make the decision now if the situation requires it. Prior to shifting my focus to tech, I built 3 of my own brick and mortar businesses (a Brewery, a Restaurant, and a Bar) and I have planned and executed 20+ beer festivals. I have 15 years of Restaurant Management experience each leading 30 - 50 employees at a time spread out over multiple departments.During that time I developed a customer first mentality and gained experience conducting thousands of user/customer interviews learning how to gracefully take constructive criticism and distill the actionable advice that moves the business forward. I also spent those restaurant years diving into the data of sales trends and inventory lists to make data driven decisions.
