I'm Sanaa, a high school student with a deep-seated passion for international relations, reading, and writing. I aspire to pursue a double major in political science and economics, driven by a genuine curiosity to understand the complexities of global interactions and the economic forces that shape our world. My academic interests are diverse, but they all converge on a common goal: to make a meaningful impact on both a local and global scale.From a young age, I've been captivated by the stories of different cultures and the dynamics of global politics. This fascination has led me to immerse myself in extensive reading, ranging from historical accounts to contemporary analyses of international relations. My love for writing complements my reading habit, as it allows me to articulate my thoughts, analyze different perspectives, and engage in meaningful discussions.In school, I've actively sought opportunities to develop my skills and knowledge. I participate actively in Model UN, where I continually learn the branches of the procedures of The United Nations and grow my public speaking abilities. The experience of presenting cases and forming logical arguments has been invaluable, teaching me the importance of clarity, precision, and ethical considerations in global contexts.Similarly, my involvement in the youth parliament club has been instrumental in shaping my understanding of political systems and governance. Debating policies, drafting bills, and participating in simulated parliamentary sessions have enhanced my leadership skills and deepened my appreciation for democratic processes. These activities have also provided me with a platform to connect with like-minded peers and mentors who share my passion for civic engagement.Outside of school, I am constantly seeking ways to broaden my horizons. Whether it's auditing lectures, playing the piano, or simply engaging in thoughtful conversations with others, I am committed to continuous learning and personal growth.
